Hi Robin here with another simple drill for anybody losing stability in their left foot in the downswing. What I mean by that is players whose left foot is spinning out of control even before they’ve reached impact. If it’s rolling, it’s spinning, hanging back on the right foot, left hip spinning back out of the way too early. The drill is simple as this. Place a stick in the ground, place the center of your left foot on the stick. You’ll feel the outside of your foot and the inside of your foot slightly off the ground. Try to maintain that through to impact. If you’re on grass, you can actually go ahead and hit some shots doing that once you’ve become comfortable with it. .
